The Holy Sabbath and Festivals of the Bible
A detailed examination of the Biblical Sabbath and Holy Feast Days and why we should be keeping them today, in modern Christianity. Millions of professing Christians have yet to discover many of the landmarks that define the Faith of our Fathers. These ancient pathways of truth have been obscured over time, ignored by the Post-Modern Church, and are essentially unknown and assuredly are not being preached or proclaimed by the Clergy now leading the flocks across the nation. This great falling away from biblical faith merely demonstrates the shallow, anemic, and lifeless theology which is embraced by the Church in contemporary America. The Prophet Jeremiah calls those who walk in the calling and election of a Sovereign God to “. . .Ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. . .” Jeremiah 6:16. The Biblical Sabbath and the Holy Days of ancient Israel are among the many landmarks along the path of which Jeremiah speaks. The Biblical Sabbath and Holy Days were observed by the Patriarchs, Prophets, by Jesus Christ Himself, His Apostles, and the Disciples who followed in their footsteps. Sadly, millions of Christians have carved out of the pagan ideologies of this world a foreign path to travel. The biblical Sabbath and Holy Days are still marked in Scripture for those whose hearts are turned to the truth of Scripture.
