Last night I watched a wonderful program on television, sponsored by the ARTHUR DE MOSS FOUNDATION, called "America, You're Too Young to Die". It chronicled the very beginnings and the growth of our nation and then brought our history down to the present day. Plus it also told of some of the tremendous problems.
Then today I watched a program put on by ABC News, called "45/85" that chronicled the last forty years of our history and our troubles. I would like to think that maybe you had the opportunity to watch these programs too. And that maybe either or both of them had touched your heart and stirred your soul as they did mine. Then I realized I had to write this booklet, in order to present the entire picture to you.
Will you please take the time and effort to read very carefully the contents of this booklet? It contains the most important information you will ever receive in all of your life.I know that it sounds crazy and ridiculous but its true. This is not a topic about how you can become a millionaire in six weeks or about how you can become a success in some field of endeavor or some other grandiose scheme. The story that I'm about to tell you is far more important to you and everyone else in this great nation than any of those things.
One more thing that I'd like you to know right from the beginning is that this story that you are about to read is absolutely true, it is not fictitious, it is absolutely fact, and is easily provable by anyone who has the time or will take the time to investigate historical records. There is an absolute treasure-trove of fact to back up and substantiate every claim that I will make. Every public library in our nation and many private libraries contain the historical information that proves my statements. In my own library I have literally dozens of books and records that bear out the story you are about to read.
